“ Lovely little 'greasy spoon' situated in Hackney. The service is great, with the servers being very polite and helpful. I also noticed that they greeted 'regulars' and knew their orders, which is a sign of a great community establishment. This sense of community continued, as a couple of individuals that appeared homeless came into the cafe. They too were greeted and given coffee, with one patron offering to pay for them, but management covering it. The food was also great, well cooked and not dripping in grease, and the front of house staff keep the sitting are very clean and tidy. I have marked down the atmosphere, simply due to the dated posters and menus, if this was updated it would be 5/5. Honestly a minor thing in comparison to the compassion and hospitality I witnessed. ”
